The Wrought Iron Door

During our morning worship service, Lynn used a door to illustrate concepts related to our willingess to open our lives to God.  She presented a number of images of doors, asked the congregation to name different types of doors, and the most impressive use of a door for the sermon was an actual door mounted on a movable frame.  Lynn used this door to great effect, opening and closing it, peeking through it, stepping over the threshold, and closing it tight.  She asked us to center on the thought of what our door looks like and what type of sign do we have on it.  We were provided a piece of paper along with our bulletin with several prompts.  There was pleny of room on the page to write or draw.  I drew a wrought iron door.
